The CO₂ Re-use Value Chain

The CO₂ Re-use Value Chain

This course presents a series of case studies that explore the requirements for successful 'value chains' for the utilisation of CO₂ in different geographic regions. These case studies explore issues such as the proximity of CO₂ producers and companies that can make use of it, success factors and challenges, and the potential gains that can be realised.

Once you've completed this course, we'd be very grateful if you would give us your feedback by completing our short Learner Survey.

In this course, you will learn about CO₂ re-use value chains and how these contribute to the successful implementation of large-scale CO₂ re-use.

The short answer is ANYONE! If you are interested in CO₂ re-use and contributing to the fight against climate change, then this resource will have something for you.

This course consists of four learning nuggets. You should allow around 10 – 15 minutes to view each one, plus additional time if you wish to view any links and resources within them.

Let us know what you think! Thank you for viewing this CO₂ Re-use course. We’re always open to improving what we do and to new ideas, so we’d be grateful if you’d take a moment to answer a few questions.

Learning Outcomes:
After completing this course, you'll be able to:
  • Discuss the importance of CO₂ utilisation in setting-up appropriate value chains so that emitters of CO₂ and users of captured CO₂ can both benefit from this approach.
  • Explain the success factors and barriers related to setting up these value-chains in different regions.
