Technology and Innovation

For CO₂ utilisation to achieve its potential, it will require innovation and advances in technology. There's still a lot of work to do! This course summarises some of the exciting advances that are already happening in this area and looks at the importance of life-cycle assessment to confirm the overall benefits that can be achieved by CO₂ utilisation techniques.

In this course, you will learn how technology and innovation can contribute to the successful implementation of large-scale CO₂ re-use.

The short answer is ANYONE! If you are interested in CO₂ re-use and contributing to the fight against climate change, then this resource will have something for you.

This course consists of three learning nuggets. You should allow around 10 – 15 minutes to view each one, plus additional time if you wish to view any links and resources within them.

Discover some of the exciting innovations and technological progress that is being to ensure that CO2 utilisation achieves its potential. This includes advances in how CO2 is converted efficiently to useful 'feedstock' for use in producing new products and how we can assess the entire CO2 utilisation life-cycle.
